1kg Flour
15g Salt
1 teaspoon Sugar
600g Water
45g Fresh yeast or 15g Dry yeast
200g Punta del Agua Soft Cheese
to taste Tomato sauce
to taste Oregano
to taste Olives
Instructions
1
Prepare the ferment mixing two tablespoons of flour, sugar and yeast in a bowl with a little of the water. Lay a cloth on top and leave it at room temperature for 10 – 30 minutes until doubling in size.
2
Add remaining ingredients, flour, extra virgen olive oil, water and salt. Mix by hand until it is well combined. Then knead dough until it is smooth and elastic.
3
Divide the dough into three balls.
4
Pour olive oil over a pizza tray and let the dough to rise for about an hour until doubling in size. While the dough is rising turn and stretch the dough to lightly shape it to the desired dimensions.
5
Pre-bake the dough for a few minutes in the oven at 250ºC to make the dough a little crispier.
6
Spread with tomato sauce before putting it in the oven. Then place rest of the toppings. This Argentinean mozzarella pizza will have 200 grams of Punta del Agua Soft Cheese on top of the tomato sauce. You can add whatever you want: ham, garlic, bell peppers, etc.
7
Place it on the oven rack, at the same temperature, so that it only receives heat from the top.
8
Bake pizza for a few minutes (less than 10 minutes depending on the type of oven, etc.) until the crust is browned and cheese is completely melted.
9
Sprinkle on oregano and olives over the Punta del Agua Soft Cheese for extra flavor and it’s ready to eat!
